Monsignor Valerio Anzino
A significant part of the Marchisa extended family genealogy effort has been spent on researching Valerio Anzino. Valerio was a first cousin of Francesca Gotta, Frank Marchisa’s grandmother. In short, Valerio, (1832 – 1899), was a very historically important person in Italy. In addition to online research in the US, Tom Marchisa traveled to Italy in 2016 and 2018 conducting “on-the-ground” research to flesh out the specifics of Valerio’s life.
