While most of us are very familiar with Jim’s Toman ancestors , most of us are not very familiar with with Jim’s ancestors from his mom Emily’s family. Emily’s mother , Agnes (Swider) Sasiela was born in Bratkowice, Poland in 1897 and was one of 11 children. Emily’s father, John Sasiela was born in Wola Ranizowska, Poland in 1890. At this point I haven’t identified John’s siblings. Emily herself had one brother Frank and one sister Helen. Some of the Toman cousins may remember meeting Emily’s mom Agnes and Emily’s sister Helen at various family functions.
